All Saints Sunday

All Saints celebrates the baptized people of God, living and dead, who are the body of Christ. On this special day, we remember our departed loved ones and all who have died in Christ and whose baptism and Christian pilgrimage are complete. At the Lord’s table, we gather with the faithful of every time and place, trusting that the promises of God will be fulfilled and that all tears will be wiped away in the new Jerusalem.

In preparation for this liturgy, we invite you to record the names of departed saints who have died since last All Saints Day in our necrology (book of the names of the dead). You are also encouraged to bring in photos of your departed loved ones to include on our altar of remembrance in our worship space.
