Thursday Night Reads – Babel

First Lutheran Albany invites you to their Summer Book Club. We’ll meet on the third Thursday of the month to discuss that months book. July’s book is the Nebula Award winning Babel by R. F. Kuang. Called “an ingenious fantasy about empire” by The Guardian, Babel is alternate history and fantasy that is set in Oxford in the 1840s. It’s good fantasy, it’s good action-adventure, it’s cutting critique of empire and colonialism.
